Goals:

• Transform Second Life customer data into meaningful, actionable business metrics.
• Create reporting and analysis tools for internal stakeholders, including community managers, product development, customer relations.
• Partner with data warehouse to develop and instrument technology for sophisticated customer data analysis.
• Manage external market research relationships academic research requests, and survey product vendors.
• Conduct customer surveys and manage data collection and reporting.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Knowledge of database architecture, software, analysis and visualization tools.
• Demonstrated ability to produce quantitative analyses of large, complex data sets
• Demonstrated ability to utilize multiple analytic tools, such as social network analyses, web traffic metrics, survey data to create understanding of customer behavior, economic activity, psychographics and customer lifecycle.
• Superior visual presentation and writing skills, translating complex analysis into concrete insights for business managers.
• Experience sourcing and vetting external market research and analytic product vendors

Required Background:

• Ph.D or Master’s degree in a statistically demanding discipline, particularly in social sciences or human sciences.
• Over 3 years of professional experience must be in a business, company or non-academic institution.
